Lance B Wilkins

After years in small business, Lance contracted with a CPA firm in February of 1999, for a special accounting project.  He subsequently became an employee and met QuickBooks.

While administering payrolls, creating financial statements, and filing tax returns like almost everyone else in a CPA firm, Lance spent more and more time with clients using QuickBooks.

​

Lance became certified in QuickBooks 99 and has certified in every year since then.  As QuickBooks clients around the San Joaquin Valley demonstrated more and more need for additional advice and more sophisticated setup than the client’s ability allowed, Lance focused on QuickBooks only.

​

As certifications for QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Point of Sale, and QuickBooks Online became available, Lance acquired these certifications.  He was Advance Certified in the year of that program’s inception.

​

Lance is a charter member of Intuit’s Trainer/Writer network and has written blog posts and presentation material for Intuit. 

 

Lance has taught literally hundreds of people, from client bookkeepers to CPA’s.  He has organized most of his own classes since 2002.  He often writes his own material, teaching basics, classes for CPA’s focusing on interpreting a client’s QuickBooks file, as well as special classes for retailers, wholesale/distribution clients, QuickBooks for Contractors, and more.
